Running Towards the Light - Postcards from Alaska - is the follow up to the Long Ride Home.
 
It tells the story of my ride from New York to Alaska on the same 105cc Australian postal bike named Dorothy as I rode from Sydney to London.
 
Once again leaving on a whim, with a small budget and no real plan, the story starts off sombre as sense is made of the post-trip blues following the first trip, before building in pace and energy as the journey progresses across the highs and lows of America. From the urban decay of Detroit and Chicago, to the thrill of seeing Monument Valley, Grand Canyon and Death Valley from the seat of a postiebike, before the finale iof following the road north to Alaska.
 
The book contains 24 pages of photographs.
